The Niceday CT11 Elliptical Machine is perfect for home use, and, priced in the mid-range level, the construction and working parts of the Niceday elliptical are all impressive. It offers a serious jump in quality from the cheaper machines and has much to offer for people looking for something reliable that will last.
The CT11 features 16 levels of manual magnetic resistance for your different workout goals. And you’ll feel the difference between each resistance level. For example, levels 1 to 6 are for warming up, 7 to 12 are for burning calories efficiently, and 13 to 16 will challenge you and help strengthen and tone your leg muscles, buttocks, and core section.
The Niceday CT11 elliptical machine mobile handlebars on this trainer give you more choices with your upper body moving together with your legs so that you’ll burn calories and fat on your whole body. In addition, you can hold the fixed handles in the middle to keep yourself stable while doing tough leg workouts.
The CT11 has a fitness monitor featuring an LCD that tracks the time, speed, distance, odometer, calories burned, and pulse by holding the fixed handlebar sensors. In addition, you can set different workout goals based on distance, calorie-burning, or time.

CT11 Frame Construction
The Niceday CT11 elliptical machine features a steel tubing frame combining oval and cylindrical tubes in its construction for improved aesthetics and sturdiness. In addition, all the steel parts come coated with a corrosion-resistant and chip-resistant black paint finish.
The machine also integrates several durable thermoplastic material parts. The most notable ones are the covers of the drive system and the pedal trays. Several other small bodies and the monitor casing are also plastic-made.
This Niceday elliptical is not too bulky. With all the parts assembled, it is approximately 48″ (122 cm) long and 25″ (64 cm) wide. Its moving arms reach approx. 62″ (157 cm) above floor level. It is advisable to allow at least two feet of clearance all around the machine to access quickly.
The trainer is relatively heavy. It weighs approximately 100 lbs (45.3 kg) with all the parts assembled. Thus, two people should carry the packaged machine. However, once completed, one person can move the machine as its front stabilizer integrates two small wheels.
Like most other ellipticals in this feature and price range, the Niceday CT11 features two handlebars, one fixed, and one mobile. The fixed handlebars connect directly to the monitor mast of the machine. They have short grips and integrate HR pulse sensors.
The moving arms have considerably longer grips with ball grips at the top. They attach to the pedal bars and the mid-section of the monitor mast. Thus, they cannot remain stationary when you pedal.
Elliptical path, stride, and pedal height
The Niceday CT11 is a rear-drive elliptical machine. Therefore, its elliptical path slightly inclines forward, which means the pedaling motion resembles a descent on a soft ram, leading to a somewhat better workout for your glutes, thighs, and calves.
The pedal trays are made of durable thermoplastic material. In addition, they are large enough to accommodate athletic shoes of all sizes. Furthermore, they have side guards and a textured surface for improved foot stability, and they connect to two steel bars and support users up to 400 lbs (181.4 kg) with no problem.
The machine doesn’t have a super long stride, only 15″ (38 cm). Therefore, it comfortably accommodates users up to 6’2″ (188 cm), providing an appropriate range of motion. Taller users should still use this trainer, but their range of action will be limited.
This Niceday elliptical has a step-up pedal height of approx—5.5″ (14 cm). Conversely, the pedals stand at approx—16″ (40 cm) above floor level when they are at their highest point. Therefore, using the machine in a room with a ceiling at least 20″ (51 cm) higher than the tallest user’s height is advisable.
CT11 resistance and drive
The Niceday CT11 elliptical machine comes equipped with a manual magnetic resistance system. Therefore, you don’t need a power adapter or an external power source. On the other hand, the machine does not adjust the resistance automatically.
The trainer’s resistance system consists of an internal magnetic brake attached to the flywheel system and connected to the tension knob on the upright mast through a steel cable. Therefore, when you turn the knob clockwise, the brake moves closer to the flywheel, increasing the pedaling resistance.
The machine makes available 16 levels of resistance. The lowest level generates a relatively light resistance, excellent for conditioning and recovery training. The 16th level, on the other hand, provides significantly more resistance, simulating a hill climb, allowing you to achieve a high cardio level quickly. The highest tension levels are also significant for strength and stamina development.
The weight of the trainer’s internal flywheel is 16 lbs (7.3 kg). It is perimeter-weighted for enhanced inertia, consistent momentum, and a steady pedaling motion. It is also bi-directional; thus, you can pedal in reverse.
The Niceday elliptical trainer uses a belt drivetrain. It integrates a durable poly-v belt resistant to stretching. Since the machine uses a belt, not a chain, the drivetrain does not require periodic lubrication. It also generates less vibration than a chain, contributing to the smoothness and quietness of the ride.
Fitness monitor
The Niceday CT11 elliptical machine includes a pretty simple fitness monitor. It does not have online connectivity or pre-set workout programs. Instead, it features an LCD that tracks time, speed, distance, total distance, calories, and pulse.
The speed and distance are in Imperial units (MPH and miles). The pulse reading function is hand-grip contact only. Therefore, the console only tracks your pulse if you hold on to the sensors integrated into the fixed handlebars of the machine. Unfortunately, it does not work with wireless heart rate chest straps, smartwatches, or fitness armbands.
The fitness monitor features three buttons. These are Mode, Set, and Reset. For example, the Mode button allows you to scroll through the workout metrics and select the one you want to view on display. Or you can also set the Scan Mode, which automatically rotates all the metrics showing each one for approximately 6 seconds.
The Set button allows selecting goals for time, distance, and calories burned. After choosing a goal, the monitor counts down from the specified value until zero. This way, you can keep track of your progress and push your limits with every workout. And finally, the Reset button clears all the values on the monitor to zero.
The fitness monitor is battery-powered. In addition, it starts when you press the Mode button or detect pedal movement, and it automatically turns off after a few minutes of inactivity on the elliptical.
It also integrates a device holder, consisting of a small shelf to place your tablet or smartphone. However, the monitor has no docking ports (USB and AUX).
CT11 Assembly and Maintenance
Most of the elliptical comes pre-assembled. You only have to unbox it, attach the two base bars, secure the front mast upright, and add the fixed handlebars and the fitness monitor. Therefore, it shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes of your time. All the necessary tools come with the machine, and the manual provides precise assembly instructions.
For maintenance, the internal parts don’t need any lubrication. Therefore, you only need to keep the machine clean, periodically check for loose bolts and parts, and retighten them to ensure your elliptical trainer functions properly and is safe to use.

Hello, Robert!
Ellipticals have always been one of my favorite training machines. I’m keen on practicing physical exercise and keeping fit.
The Niceday CT11 seems to be a good choice for those who do not have the time to drive to or spend time in a gym. Moreover, most of them have been closed due to the Covid19 pandemic, and people are still afraid of training, among others. Your post made the machine reliable as far as I’m concerned.
Great job! Stay safe.
Hi Antonio, thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us. Are you in the market for exercise equipment? If so, please let me know; I’m always happy to help.

Ellipticals have consistently been one of my number one preparing machines. I’m excited about rehearsing actual exercise and staying in shape. The Niceday CT11 is, by all accounts, a decent decision for the individuals who don’t have the opportunity to head to or invest energy in a rec center. Besides, the vast majority of them have been shut because of the Covid19 pandemic, and individuals are as yet terrified of preparing, among others. Your post made the machine solid, all things considered.
Hello Herman, thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us. The gym has been opening up in my area, but for many exercising at home has become the norm.

The quality of the Niceday CT11 elliptical exercise machine certainly seems to be gym standard, so great to see that it is available in an elliptical for home use. In addition, the rating of 9.5/10 makes the CT11 elliptical a serious contender for anybody wanting home gym equipment.
With 16 levels of manual magnetic resistance, being able to support users up to 400lbs, and you can wheel it around, the Niceday CT11 elliptical is undoubtedly a very impressive elliptical.

Thanks for introducing me to the Niceday CT11 Elliptical Machine. It is excellent to find a quality piece of equipment at a reasonable price. And to think that it supports someone who weighs 400lb. That is a pretty sturdy piece of equipment! Sixteen magnetic resistance levels give much room for every fitness level. With a three-year warranty, you still could not pay for a 3-year gym membership. It is disappointing that the stride length is limited; however, with the resistance levels available, it should still give you a good workout.
