Pole Star Frame construction
The SNODE Pole Star indoor cycling bike features a steel frame combining oval and rectangular tubing in its construction. As a result, its median base bar has a more substantial curvature than other similar exercise bikes.
All the steel parts in its construction come coated with a corrosion-resistant paint finish. The color used for the mainframe is white, while the color used for the seat post and handlebar post is gray. The flywheel is chrome-plated with ABS side panel covers.
Compared to other indoor cycling bikes, the SNODE Pole Star is smaller. It is only 39″ (99 cm) long and 18″ (46 cm) wide, while its maximum height reaches approximately 45″ (114 cm) when the handlebar extends fully. However, it is still advisable to allow about two feet of clearance to ease access and correct usage.
The fully assembled bike is also relatively light compared to other spin bikes. It only weighs 77 lbs (35 kg). However, this is still about twice the average road bike’s weight, providing plenty of stability. Plus, both its base stabilizing bars feature adjustable levelers, while the front base bar comes equipped with a set of transport wheels.
One last aspect to note is the small rectangular bar above the crank that unites the seat post to the mainframe post. It can be used as a step-up element if needed and support for stretching or for specific spin workouts that require you to mount and dismount repeatedly. Its base shell is heavy-duty nylon material covered with a thick layer of foam and with another layer of vinyl material on the outside. It also comes contoured for improved airflow.
The bike’s seat assembly is four-way adjustable (up, down, front, back). In addition, the upright post has more than ten adjustment holes, while the horizontal slider adds a few inches of front-to-back adjustment. Thus, the bike should accommodate users with an inseam between 29″ and 39″ (73 – 99 cm).
Therefore, the bike comfortably accommodates users between 5’2″ and 6’4″ (157 – 193 cm). It also has a maximum user weight capacity of up to 280 lbs (127 kg).
The seat has a collar-type attachment system. Thus, you can also slightly adjust its angle. It also means that it is easily replaceable, if necessary, and compatible options are widely available.
The bike has a multi-grip handlebar. It offers the possibility to adopt a climbing grip, a standard grip, and a racing grip. It also has a small loop bar in the middle, which allows a close grip. Last but not least, the bike comes with a 3-piece crankset featuring crank arms similar to road bikes. The pedals are metallic with adjustable toe cages. Unfortunately, they do not integrate SPD clips for spin shoes, but their threads are standard (9/16″), so compatible replacements are widely available.

The fitness monitor is easy to use. It only has one button that covers all its functions. You can scroll through the workout metrics and select what you want to view by pressing it repeatedly. Therefore, it shouldn’t take more than 30-40 minutes of your time. The task is straightforward, the manual provides pretty decent assembly instructions, and all the necessary tools come with the bike.
The bike has a belt drive system, so its drivetrain does not require lubrication. In addition, the brake is magnetic, so the brake pad doesn’t wear out. Thus, in terms of maintenance, you only have to keep the bike clean, periodically check if all the moving parts function correctly, check for loose nuts and bolts, and retighten if necessary.

I am assuming that you exercise to stay in shape and to have a nice figure. You should do just fine exercising for 1 hour a day. I personally exercise one hour every other day. On the days that I don’t exercise, I stay active playing sports, riding a bike outdoors, and walking.
Magnetic resistance is the type of brake pad placed above the flywheel. This brake pad has magnets. Hence, the name “magnetic resistance.” The brake pad connects to a tension knob on the bike’s frame.
By turning this knob clockwise, the magnets move closer to the flywheel, which increases the strength of the magnetic field, leading to more incredible pedaling difficulty.
The benefit of magnetic resistance is that the magnets never touch the flywheel, so it operates very quietly. Another advantage is there is no maintenance, and the brake pad will not ever need replacing.
