PR-1000 Power rack

The REP Fitness PR-1000 power rack features a sturdy, 14 gauge, 2″ × 2″ steel frame. In addition, the steel parts in its construction come coated with a corrosion-resistant paint finish.

The fully assembled unit is 48″ (122 cm) deep and 48″ (122 cm) wide. However, you must leave at least two feet (61 cm) of clearance on each side and at least three feet (91 cm) at the front of the unit to use an Olympic barbell and a bench.

Additionally, the height of the rack is approximately 83″ (211 cm). Therefore, leaving at least a few inches of clearance above the unit is advisable to execute all the pull-up exercises correctly.

The rack’s pull-up bar is 1.25″ (3.1 cm) in diameter and 44″ (111.7 cm) long. It hangs at approx—81″ (206 cm) above floor level.

Therefore, even if you’re over six feet (183 cm) tall, you should be able to execute all exercises correctly. In addition, the pull-up bar has a weight capacity of 400 lbs (181 kg), so weighted pull-ups or chin-ups are options.

The unit’s base does not have foot stabilizers or pre-drilled holes to secure it to the floor. However, the rack is pretty stable.

In addition, the upright bars of the rack features 28 attachment positions for the safety bars and j-hooks. The distance between the adjustment positions is also 1″ (2.5 cm).

Optional Lat attachment, dip bars, and weight storage

The REP Fitness PR-1000 Power Rack has optional accessories like lat attachment/low row, dip attachment, and bench.

The optional lat attachment/low row add-on features a pretty standard structure. It has six durable nylon pulleys integrating ball bearings for smooth and prolonged usage. The cables are steel-made and coated with a PVC layer to prevent the scratching of the pulleys.

The weight carriage of the lat attachment features two 8.25″ (21 cm) pegs, 2″ in diameter, designed for Olympic (2″) plates. Furthermore, they do not remove to use it with 1″ Standard weight plates. The machine has a classic 38″ lat bar and a short bar for low rows. In addition, the system features a 1:1 ratio, which means a 10-pound weight will feel like 10 pounds of resistance.

Enhance your PR-1000 Series rack with an easy-to-use Dip Attachment. This sucker can handle 400 lbs and is compatible with all the 1000 Series racks. In addition, the two dip bars are approximately 25″ (65 cm) long. To install the dip attachment, place both safety bars on the same side of the power rack.

You can place the dip bars inside or outside the power rack, but when placed outside, you may need to add a few weight plates as a counterweight on the opposite storage peg.

The Rep Fitness FB-3000 is a professional-grade flat workout bench designed to let you handle heavy weights safely and confidently. Unlike others tested to 300-600 lbs, we have tested ours to over 1,000 lbs, which still holds strong. In addition, durable padding with a grippy surface and matte black powder coating give it an attractive, long-lasting finish.
