The Pyhigh S7 Indoor Cycling Bike has a durable steel frame construction and can support a maximum user weight capacity of 330 pounds. In addition, the S7 comes with a friction resistance system, a comfortable padded saddle, and an LCD monitor that can track the basic workout metrics to keep you aware of your performance.
The Pyhigh S7 has a racing-style design, with high-end multi-grip cycling handlebars and a 48 lb flywheel to give users incredible ergonomics and a stable, sturdy frame. In addition, unlike many other budget exercise bikes, the S7 with a 48 lb flywheel (fixed, bidirectional) allows for a low-impact enjoyable spin workout.
The S7 comes with a solid leather transmission belt (PK Belt). The multi-ribbed belt design features a V belt’s power transmission capabilities with a flat belt’s flexibility. Another good thing about the belt system is that it doesn’t need lubing and frequent maintenance like chain-driven bikes.
The Pyhigh S7 indoor cycling bike offers comfort factors and the needed adjustment to accommodate most riders. In addition, the S7 is a great exercise bike for intense cardio workouts, intervals, leg muscle strength development, and weight loss.

S7 Frame Construction
The Pyhigh S7 is a spin bike with a thick steel frame and precision-welded joints that render superior overall sturdiness. The bike has a maximum user weight capacity of 330 lbs. All the frame bars come with a corrosion-resistant paint finish, black and white. The handlebar post and seat post have a chrome finish.
Of course, the bike’s frame integrates several ABS parts. However, these only have a protective role. Among them, I can count the belt drive cover, the brake pad’s protection, and a few other small caps.
This Pyhigh exercise bike is considerably heavy. The frame, fully set up, weighs over 100 lbs, which is more than two times the mountain bike’s weight. However, this weight results in high stability; you can be sure it won’t rock under you even during the fastest spin workouts. On top of that, both base bars of the unit have adjustable stabilizers featuring large rubber pads, which also deliver a superior grip on the floor.
Once assembled, the bike shouldn’t be too difficult to move. Its front base comes with a set of large silicone wheels. Therefore, by lifting it from the seat or the back support and using the wheels, you will only be handling approximately 1/3 of its total weight.
Seat & handlebars
Its upholstery is a durable vinyl material, and its central area features a reasonably large groove designed to improve breathability and promote healthy blood circulation during seated workouts. In addition, there are two shock absorption springs at its rear, which also improve cushioning.
It is a bit wider than the average slim spin saddle and integrates a thick layer of padding, especially in its rear section.
On top of all that, the bike’s saddle has a standard connection system to its slider. Thus, compatible replacements for it are widely available.
The bike’s seat offers 4-way adjustability (up, down, forward, backward). In addition, its vertical post provides 8″ of adjustment, from 32″ above floor level to 40″. Plus, its horizontal slider offers a few inches of front-to-back travel. Thus, the bike can accommodate users between 5’0″ (153 cm) and 6’5″ (196 cm) with no problem, allowing a complete range of motion.
This Pyhigh S7 indoor cycling bike includes a multi-grip handlebar. It’s quite a plus that it has dropdown grips; many other spin bikes do not offer this feature. It also has integrated aero bars, which can also double as a tablet shelf.
A layer of rubber material covers the whole handlebar assembly to provide a secure grip. Its top sidebars integrate metallic pulse sensors. However, it is only 2-way adjustable (up, down). It offers a vertical adjustment span of approximately 4.5″ (11.4 cm), from 40″ (101.6 cm) above floor level to 44.5″ (113 cm).
S7 Resistance system
The Pyhigh S7 exercise bike has a friction resistance system. Therefore, it does not require a connection to a power source. Also, the resistance adjustment is manual; the included console does not control the pedaling difficulty.
The bike’s resistance system consists of a large felt pad attached under the central frame tube and connected to the tension dial on top of this tube. Therefore, to increase the resistance, you must turn the dial clockwise so that the brake pad will apply more friction to the flywheel. Like any other bike with friction resistance, this pad will wear out after a while and need replacement.
The tension dial doesn’t have any pre-determined resistance settings marked on it. Instead, you tighten it until you obtain the desired pedaling difficulty.
It also functions as an emergency brake. By pressing it down, you can immediately stop the flywheel from spinning, which may be necessary, especially when pedaling at high speed, as the pedals continue to turn for as long as the wheel is spinning.
Drive system
The first element from the bike’s drive system that we must mention here is the flywheel. The Pyhigh S7 indoor cycling bike has an extra-heavy wheel, weighing 44 lbs (20 kg). In addition, it has a perimeter-weighted design, enabling it to deliver very high inertia, which is excellent for spinning.
Since the bike’s drive system is simple, pedaling in reverse is possible without a derailleur, as in road bikes or a drum brake. In addition, the pedals move for as long as the flywheel runs, so it’s impossible to coast.
The bike’s transmission uses a durable rubber belt concealed by the ABS cover for extra protection. Since it’s a belt-drive, it does not need periodic lubrication. It also delivers smooth and quiet motion, and drive-related vibration is almost inexistent.
The Pyhigh S7 integrates a heavy-duty crankset with solid steel arms and metallic pedals. Its whole assembly supports the user in a full standing-up position as long as they don’t exceed the bike’s 330 lbs (150 kg) weight limit.
The pedals have a non-slip design. In addition, they come with toe cages for extra thrusting power during high-intensity spin workouts. However, they do not have SPD clips for spin shoes.
S7 Console
The Pyhigh S7 includes a fitness console featuring a 6-panel LCD. It tracks time, distance, speed, RPM, calories burned, and pulse. Unfortunately, it has no preset programs, but you can set up time, distance, and calories.
To increase/decrease the value of a workout goal, you can use the side Up/Down buttons, while the Enter button allows you to select the desired metric. Also, the Enter button has a Reset function. By pressing and holding it for a few seconds, all the values reset to zero.
The console is not telemetric and cannot read your pulse via a heart rate chest strap. Therefore, you must hold on to the bike’s metallic sensors and built-in sidebars.
The fitness console is battery-powered. It starts when you begin pedaling and has an auto-shutdown function that initiates after a few minutes of inactivity on the bike.
S7 Assembly & Maintenance
The core frame of the bike comes pre-assembled. Therefore, you only need to attach the base stabilizers, the seat and handlebar posts, the seat, the handlebars, the fitness meter, and the console. All the tools needed for the assembly are (included). The manual provides step-by-step assembly instructions, so the task shouldn’t take more than 30-40 minutes.
Since the bike has a belt drive, its transmission doesn’t need lubrication. However, the brake pad may require a bit of silicone lubrication if it emits a loud squeaking noise in contact with the flywheel. It would also help if you kept the bike clean and periodically checked for loose or broken parts.

I did not know about this particular stationary bike before reading your review. You have described it thoroughly. Although you indicated that height variation for handlebar and seats, I am not sure how these are adjusted. The bike seems plenty durable. Is the tension level strictly manual, or can it be set through the dashboard? Thanks for identifying this piece of equipment. I am going to do a bit more research.
The handlebar is horizontally (up and down) adjusted by loosening the knob on the front part of the frame, setting the height desired, and then retighten the knob. The seat is four-way adjustable (forward and backward & up and down). There are two knobs for making adjustments. One is at the bottom of the seat. The other is on the frame just in front of the seat. The resistance is strictly manual. It’s adjusted by turning the red knob on the frame located just under the handlebars. I hope this is helpful and answers your questions.
